Orbital Muscles
sr - superior rectus m.
so - superior oblique m.
mr - medial rectus m.
lr - lateral rectus m.
ir - inferior rectus m.
io - inferior oblique m.
l - levator m.
There are 7 extraocular muslces in the orbit. The four rectus and two oblique muscles serve for ocular motility. The levator muscle elevates the upper eyelid.
